UPCOMING EVENTS
COLD ART. We are launching our Cold Art series again on select Thursday evenings. The idea is to make the most of the cold months by getting together, flexing our artistic muscles (no matter how big or small), making new friends, and building community. Just because it's cold out, doesn't mean we have to retreat into pandemic-like isolation! Check back as we expect to add more Thursday events to the series. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

Thursday October 12th, 7 to 9 pm - A Gathering of Stitches. Mindful stitching among friends, new and old. Join us for an evening of slow stitching and cider sipping, with host Deborah O'Sullivan. This is a free event if you bring your own fabric, thread and scissors OR $5.00 cash for your choice of fabric, thread and use of scissors. No experience necessary!
-
Thursday October 26th: Guided Art Exploration with Sound Relaxation, with your host Alannah Kemp of Inner Environmentalism. Join us for an evening of guided creativity. The evening will be infused with crystal sound bowls and chimes to make it a magically intuitive experience. We will be exploring the method of Neurographic art which is an art therapy tool for fostering new connections in the brain and working through problems creatively. It is a simple step-by-step activity that requires only curiosity and playfullness -- no artistic skills needed (although you probably have more skills than you give yourself credit for!). Tickets can be purchased online for $25 (will be available soon). Visit https://www.tickettailor.com/events/innerenvironmentalism.
-
Thursday November 9th: A Gathering of Stitches as described above.

THE IRV AT BANJO Restaurant: Our new restaurant, brought to you by the Irv, is open Saturday 12 to 8 and Sunday 12 to 5. Starting September 29th, it will no longer be open on Fridays. Watch for our posts on social media each week with their weekly menu. Lobster rolls and the Banjo Burger are two of their most popular offerings and are on the menu every weekend while supplies last. They have vegetarian and meat options, and options for people with a gluten-free lifestyle. Given the small space, they do not have gluten-free options for those with celiac disease.
